Saints-Vikings is a toss up, and while Jets are considerable underdogs, I wouldn’t be surprised to see them win! We shall see.

Gotta be the Saints and the Jets. Besides each team having feel good stories like you mentioned, but the best defense vs the best offense.

Either way, if one of those 2 teams makes it, I’ll be pretty happy. I like my chances.

I see you caught that Favre blunder. Not sure what I was thinking.

Agree that America loves the underdog. The thing is that a lot of football fans don’t believe the Jets deserve to be in their current position because of all the breaks they caught towards the end of the regular season. Not saying I believe that, but I think there is a weird vibe around this Jets team.

Interesting point. 16 pro bowlers on the Colts & Vikings rosters… Does that make them most deserving?

I think the Super Bowl could really benefit from a Jets-Saints matchup. They’d get an underdog versus a feel-good story. Those tend to be the two most popular types of teams that people root for.

It would guarantee we see a champion that hasn’t won this decade, and not having Brett Favre would keep his haters happy. (Unfortunately for him and the Vikings, there are a lot of them now.)

Fact: Brett Favre won Super Bowl XXXI

The Jets don’t just represent a huge market, they are also the underdog and America loves the underdog.

An interesting consequence of a Colts and Vikings Super Bowl is that they have a combined 16 Pro Bowlers on their rosters.

I’m personally rooting for the Colts since I grew up in Indianapolis.
